By Way of This Souls Are Purified! -al-‘Allāmah Rabī‘ bin Hādī al-Madkhalī

Ash-Shaykh Rabī‘ bin Hādī bin ‘Umayr al-Madkhalī - ‏حفظه الله - mentioned:

“Give great concern to reciting the Qur’ān in this noble month (Ramaḍān), with reflecting upon it and pondering over it, and taking admonition from its admonitions and refraining from what it forbids, and comprehending the permissible and impermissible, understanding the promises (of reward) and the threats, and the likes of it from this noble Qur’ān. It is by way of this that souls are purified and hearts become illuminated.”¹
