Shaykh Muḥammad bin ‘Umar al-Fulānī al-Chādī Speaks on Masjid Ibn ‘Uthaimīn — Lokoja
Shaykh Muḥammad bin ‘Umar al-Fulānī al-Chādī - حفظه الله - mentioned:
In the Name of Allāh, may Allāh extol the mention of the most honourable of the Prophets and Messenger and grant him peace.
A questioner asks, he says; “I am inquiring about the (Telegram) channel of Masjid (Shaykh) Ibn Uthaimīn located in Lokoja, Nigeria. Do you advise with (benefiting from) it, and do you know those who responsible for it? And may Allāh reward you with good on our behalf”.
I say: Yes, we know those who are responsible for it, and they are from the best of the Salafī youth in Nigeria, and they are ʿAbdallāh Alfā Abū ʿAbdillāh / Abū Sumayyah, and the second is Muḥammad Muṣṭafā Abū Yemenī [Abū Yumná]. So, we advise you, o youth, to benefit from this channel and from this Masjid. Those responsible for it are well known. (They are) youth upon diligence and striving seriously to attain (beneficial) knowledge and striving to spread it among the youth and the Salafīs. They are diligent youth – I deem them as such, and we don’t praise anyone above Allāh. So, I advise you to benefit from this channel and this Masjid, and to be keen to cooperate with them — based on (Allāh’s Statement):
(وَتَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلۡبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ)
Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwá (virtue, righteousness and piety) [Sūrah Al-Mā'idah: 2]
So, I advise the youth, especially (those) in Nigeria – the Salafī youth who are present in Nigeria – I advise you to cooperate with the (brothers) responsible for this channel and this Masjid, and that you be a helping hand to them, so that - by Allāh’s permission - the Salafī Daʾwah spreads in Nigeria and other than it.
So, I ask Allāh, the Blessed and Exalted, to grant us, you and them success to what He loves and is pleased with. And I ask Allāh to extol the mention of our Prophet, Muḥammad, bless, and grant him peace, and upon his household and companions.
This statement was recorded on the first of the month of Shaʾbān in the year 1446, which is equivalent to the 31st of January 2025 CE.
