Advice Regarding Calling To Allāh — al-‘Allāmah Muqbil bin Hādī al-Wādiʿī
﷽
Shaykh Muqbil bin Hādī al-Wādiʿī — may Allāh have mercy on him — said:
“That which I advise the callers to Allāh with is to be extremely diligent in their Daʾwah (Call) to connect the people to Allāh’s Book (the Qurʾān), and the Sunnah of Allāh’s Messenger – ﷺ –, before commanding him (the one being called) to level the grave, leaving off dealing with interest-based banks, and before commanding him with (leaving off) many things from the evil affairs.
Be extremely diligent in connecting him to Allāh — the Mighty and Majestic —, then Allāh’s Book and the Sunnah of Allāh’s Messenger – ﷺ –.
Then levelling the raised grave becomes easy after that (after beginning with connecting the individual to Allāh), he himself will leave it off, he will leave off the interest-based banks by himself.. at-Tabarruj (a woman impermissibly displaying herself before men), as-Sufūr (women uncovering their faces and bodies in the presence of those not legislated for them to), the entertainment and musical devices will all depart!”¹
