Abul-Ḥasan al-Būshanjī - رحمه الله - said: I heard Aḥmad bn Ḥanbal - رحمه الله - say:

“Seek closeness to Allāh, the Most High, by hating the people of Irjāʾ, for indeed, it is among the strongest deeds in our view.’”¹
